Accommodation in Tallinn

A wide range of accommodation is available in Tallinn, with the number of choices continually growing. All interests are catered to, from upmarket business hotels to budget sleepovers; from historic, Old Town settings to plush, brandnew buildings in prime locations. There are also plenty of secluded establishments on the outskirts of town.
Certified accommodation in Tallinn is high quality, since the certification standards here are more stringent than the European average. Advance booking is essential from the busy period of May to September, but it is also strongly recommended at any time of year.
Most hotels accept major credit cards. Rates are quoted per room, not per person, and as a rule prices include breakfast and tax.
Hotel - accommodation establishment of at least 10 rooms that corresponds to high standards and offers a dining service (restaurant).
Guesthouse - accommodation establishment of at least 5 rooms that offers a dining service.
Hostel - simple accommodation establishment for holiday, sport or study visitors, offering dining or cooking facilities.
Camping - establishment providing limited accommodation services, with enclosed areas for tents and/or caravans, parking sites for motor vehicles, and cooking facilities.
Apartment - accommodation establishment which is rented out as an entire unit, with cooking facilities. The addresses marked in the table (p. 11-13) refer to the location of the company renting out apartments, not the location of the apartment itself.
